Treehouse Pre School & Montessori offers pre-school and after school services to children in the Kilternan & Glencullen areas of south county Dublin. We are a group of fully qualified Montessori Childcare Practictioners, all educated to a minimum of Fetac level 6. Many of the staff are parents and understand the pressures of modern day parenting. We offer a loving, home away from home for pre-school and National school children. Our school has a warm, welcoming environment for families and children tend to settle in quickly and easily to our routine.
We provide a full Montessori curriculum for 2 to 5 year olds, embracing the AISTEAR Curriculum.
KILTERNAN
- The Minor Hall Kilternan is where our Kilternan facility is located. It is beside the Kilternan Parish Centre on the Enniskerry Road (Church of Ireland Grounds). This is a full time day centre for children and operate 8am-6pm Monday – Thursday and 8am – 5pm Friday. The minimum hours that can be booked are 9am – 5pm (8 hours per day)
- We have one large area, catering for 31 children. It is divided into two areas, one with 17 children and one with 14 children. We have 4 teachers and two classroom assistants here. We have a fully enclosed outdoor play area to the rear.
- We also provide breakfast club from 8am-9am and afterschools from 1pm – 6pm for primary school children.
GLENCULLEN
- The Carnegie Library (Glencullen Community Hall) on the Ballybetagh Road in Glencullen Village is the location of our second service. This is a part time centre, open 9am – 1pm Monday – Friday. This is a beautiful old building and we have one large classroom, which caters for 22 children with three teachers and a classroom assistant. We have a fully enclosed outdoor play area to the rear and this setting caters for children who qualify for ECCE funding.
We also provide a pickup service and an after school/homework club to parents of children attending all local National Schools at our Kilternan location.
